Wild Frontiers has been operating safaris since 1991, and both the owners and staff have a wealth of first-hand knowledge of traveling and working in Africa. The head office is based in Johannesburg, with satellite offices in both Uganda and Tanzania we have actually "done that", not just "been there" - we've driven land cruisers through the Congo, climbed volcanoes, set up tents in the middle of the Migration, taken boats over Africa's Great Lakes, and climbed all her highest mountains, eaten a few dozen goats with the Masai, attended Chagga-Masai weddings, ridden horses around Kilimanjaro, rafted the Nile, been to Timbuktu and Mount Everest, had malaria, bilharzia and tick bite fever more often than you could imagine, and slept in some places you'd never tell your friends about - and many more that you would brag about.

Wild Frontiers are active members of SATOA / ASATA (The South African Tour Operators Association), as well as SATSA (South African Tour & Safari Association), our Uganda operation belongs to AUTO (the Association of Uganda Tour Operators), and the Tanzanian operation is fully registered and belongs to TATO. All operations have full public and passenger liability insurance.
